A simple prose in times of distress

Prose writing

Written below is a simple prose that came to me in a recent time of distress. I shared it on my Facebook page and people liked it so I thought I would share it here too.

A middle-aged woman lies crumpled up on the floor
Tears and fears stretched all down her face
Trying to make sense of what life has thrown her way
Not so much the physical pain for that can be fixed and sorted
The more emotional pain of what is left behind. The inability to walk or do much independently anymore.
Even how simple things like getting a drink require planning and care.
This is no quality of life but a life filled with frustration and concern
A woman no longer knowing who she is or what indeed to come of her in future time
